Location: Chicago, Illinois
I thought I had a challenge when I designed my son's room, but Margot's room is even smaller—and has no closet!
I chose the neutral light gray to help open up the room, but I still wanted some bold colors to brighten it up overall. We only have a crib, dresser (DIY upcycle), and a small bookshelf in there to leave plenty of floorspace for play, so we're sure to have the bare minimum of baby goods to keep some sanity. And so far, it's working great.
We had a lot of fun with the artwork in the room as my husband and I are both artists. I'm actually a medical illustrator, hence the anatomical art. But my favorite feature might actually be the window flower box outside her window!
