Marian Williams & Sig Froelich
Ukrainian Village — Chicago, Illinois
"It just needs paint and track lighting."
That is what my boyfriend and architect Sig Froelich, told me when I first viewed the empty and bleak first floor apartment. I needed the space for my graphic design studio and the price was right, so I took it. Two years later, I walk through the apartment with a smile…
Each room is furnished with pieces from the internet, flea markets, outlets and friends. We painted the walls in shades of gray to accentuate the colorful art and installed track lighting in almost every room. By combining our design sensibilities, we created a home studio that is as easy on the eyes as it was on my purse.
Thanks Marian & Sig!
