We love all the work of Darling Clementine but their Marionette series has really stolen our hearts with its old-time cartoon feel and quirky color combinations. Sold as cards, we'd have an awfully hard time giving these away and would rather frame them up for ourselves.

Darling Clementine is the work of two Norweigian artists, Ingrid Reithaug and Tonje Holand, who draw inspiration widely: "from the costumes in Hercule Poirot to old Czech animation, Bauhaus, flea markets in October, vintage table wear, contemporary fashion, camping and things made out of felt." They sell their cards through an Etsy shop where you'll also find the most charming tote bags as well as other delicious card sets (how adorable are these?).

There is more Darling Clementine's work to explore on their website including links to some work that they've licensed including cards, postcards and journals in their Claudette series sold through Nineteen Seventy Three (photo #5 above).
