Haute couture meets decor. Mark Shaw's fashion photographs capture 1960s over-the-top glamour. Just a few accessories from these interiors would be enough to glamify almost any modern apartment today. More below.
As the family photographer for the Kennedy's and a longtime photojournalist for Life Magazine, Shaw had access to the excess of his day, and his photos are a visual feast. These limited editions are available at Svenska Mobler on Wells Street starting at $800.

Love it! Thank you for posting this.
That first photograph could absolutely be the cover of a current Domino!
The top photo (blonde with doxies) doesn't even look vintage to my eyes (and I'm old enough to have a firsthand recollection of what the sixties looked like.) The dress, the hair, the decor could be from next month's Elle Decor.
"over-the-top glamour" - Is there such a thing? Can one ever have too much glamour ? :) LOVE these... they are definitely a complete 180 from the minimalist modern we often see on the site. I'm definitely bookmarking this page for inspiration. Thanks!
gasp - these are too fabulous for words - pant, pant, wheeze...
The girl in pink looks kind of like Kirsten Dunst.
