Name: Marlowe
Location: Lake Worth, FL
Division: Single Room
Room Size: 72 square feet
Tip for Living Small with Kids: Kid's really don't need much. Keep the colors bright, patterns whimsical, the furniture practical, and you can make any small space a happy home. Less is more: always.
Biggest Design Challenge in this Room: The room is extremely narrow. The crib just fits with a few inches on one side. I was hoping to have some sort of seating or rocking chair, but that was out of the question, but it turns out it wasn't all that necessary either.
Favorite Thing About This Room: All the handmade items. I loved being able to create (or have my friends and family create) adorable not-store-bought items for Marlowe :) From the dresser, to the mobile, to the stuffed animals, to the curtains, and crib bumpers... it just all feels so full of personalized love. And of course the vintage dollhouse!
Thanks for your entry Andrea and good luck!
