Last year it was announced that Martha Stewart would be designing an exclusive "Collection" brand for Macys. A preview was featured in the latest House&Garden magazine, and it was said that it would launch in September. Last night, however, I noticed it's already trickling into stores! The first thing I saw was the bathroom offerings...
I absolutely loved the faux bois collection
. Four subtle and sophisticated colorways, including a kiwi/taupe, cream/taupe, taupe/brown, and a light yellow/cream combo. There was also a nice ceramic collection of bath accessories
that also had a subtle woodgrain pattern. Some of the bedding was really nice as well, (some seemed a little too..."grandmotherly" and not really my personal taste, but I admit it definitely was pretty.)
The prices are higher than what she has at K-mart, but not too outrageous and also of much nicer quality. I didn't get a chance to see the kitchen collection
pieces, but many of the pieces are up on the Macy's site right now
. Definitely worth a look-see next time you're at a Macys
! Have any of you purchased any of the new collection? What's your review?
