… at Home Depot.
The press release we received yesterday included the product shots shown above along with some details on the new venture:
• It's Martha's first ever line of special order cabinetry, hardware and countertops
• It will be available starting this month, September 2010, by special order
• The general cabinetry price range is from $96/linear foot to $184/linear foot
• The line will include 11 door styles and 32 cabinetry hardware styles (some hardware seems to be available online now)
• It is all color coordinated with Corian counters and well suited paint colors to cut down on guesswork
Would you go "Martha" in your kitchen? Has anyone checked these out in person at Home Depot yet? Let us know…

A decorator friend did my small kitchen after my divorce. We painted it Granny Smith Green. It was before this was a popular choice. Her paint was at Sears that is how long ago it was. We were so happy that we used her whites as well. She said, "you use Martha but you don't tell anyone it's Martha." I of course told everyone.
I was in a Home Depot on Monday and remembered about the Martha Stewart line, so I wandered over to the cabinet department. The display of her cabinets is very small -- only a set of six drawers and a countertop with no uppers -- compared to HD's other offerings. However, they do have a full rack of her door styles so you can get a feel for the (very nice) quality. They only have photos of the door styles for the upper cabinets, but her glass door styles look very high end. I eavesdropped on a salesman showing a couple through all of HD's cabinet offerings and, when he came to the Martha Stewart line, he told the couple since the line was new and the brochure was expensive, he would only give them one if they were really interested in that particular line!!
I think the Martha Stewart cabinets are priced in line with HD's Thomasville and slightly below their KraftMaid line, so not unreasonable, I think, for very good looking cabinets. I'm still about a year away from a kitchen renovation in my newly purchased apartment, but will definitely consider Martha's cabinets -- and will insist on getting a brochure from that salesman!
Yep, I would totally "go Martha" in the kitchen, as long as the quality and price were decent (which I'm guessing they will be). I'm dreaming of redoing my kitchen in a couple years, so I can't wait to see these displays start popping up in my local Home Depot.
I'd have to wear suction-cup shoes or at least some sure-tread sneakers on that floor, hunh?
If I can get that first kitchen by "going Martha," sign me up!
I wonder if you can buy just the doors...
They look great and I love the variety of styles.
I think Martha is going Ina with her glass canisters in pic #1.
I just happened to be in Home Depot yesterday and stumbled upon the Martha display. There are very nice catalogues available as well. The featured doors were beautiful in lovely colors and felt like very nice quality. I was really excited about this. The countertop was a corian product, but looked like stone and was attractive. The hardware is wonderful.
@ghome- $194 for ONE stool? marked down from $291??? for ONE STOOL? wow. it is lovely but for that price i can get an entire table set somewhere else. I like Martha's collection, though Martha herself is a little too... perfect? i guess is the word. i'd be afraid to make anything dirty.
The Martha Stewart Living(tm) Collection is beautiful. We were very proud to work with Martha’s team and create the eight great new Corian® countertop options for the collection. I’d definitely “go Martha” in my own kitchen! Christine from DuPont
