We asked Lisa for some of the details. We were particularly taken with the wall silhouettes:
For the Mary Poppins and Bert silhouettes on the wall, I just bought some construction paper and drew/cut them myself using smaller computer image printouts. But the cityscape is actually a roll of stick-on chalkboard paper roll. I used the whole roll to cut out one long cityscape. It's easily removable from the wall and doesn't leave any residue. I also used one roll to just stick onto our living room floor and had the kids draw on it w chalk, reminiscent of the sidewalk chalk drawings that Bert did in the movie in the park scene.
I ordered these great personalized favor tags, labels, cupcake toppers and a door sign from Belleza e Luce. She actually did a Mary Poppins theme party for her own daughter and that's how I got a lot of the ideas. Also, I made 'spoonfuls of sugar' by scooping cool whip on each spoon and sprinkling red sprinkles on top. The favors included birdseed in pouches (from the song, "Feed the Birds") and sidewalk chalk.
Thanks for sharing Lisa!
