What I Love About My Small Home:
My small balcony -- it is my sanctuary. And I'm also learning to grow herbs and vegetables-- appreciating the outdoor space even more.
Three of My Best Tips and Tricks for Creating a Successful Small Space:
1- Not to be afraid of color-- it can transform a room.
2- Furniture that doubles as storage (an ottoman that has a removable top, a high bed frame that you can store boxes underneath)
3- Using double sided tape to stick wallpaper onto the wall and letting it scroll down. I did this above my bed which didn't have a headboard. It gives a layered look and to add flair, you can paint ontop of the paper.
