Mask Your Voice with Your Voice? Herman Miller Babble

"Uncomfortable people. Wasted energy. Clunky aesthetics. There have to be better ways to work."

This is what Herman Miller says and we wholeheartedly agree. Especially when it comes attached to the Be collection which includes the oh so beautiful LED leaf lamp and C2 climate controller.

While making sure private phone calls stay private is not a big of a deal if you work at home, for those of us in cube farm land, phone conversations and privacy don't tend to go together. This is where the Babble can help. From the horses mouth:

Babble accomplishes this by using a pre-recorded script of the user's voice, which is "babbled" and emitted from proprietary speakers positioned outward from the user. The "babbled" voice provides cover, making a phone conversation unintelligible to individuals surrounding the user. "White noise" simply masks overall interior sound, Babble "babbles" the users voice keeping private phone conversations private.

Hmm, I could use this every day.
