Bright and bold colors have two best friends. White and more bright colors! Many times the hardest part of using bright colors (albeit on the walls or in your accessories) is to weed out the middle area.
For example, a few bright colors when balanced with a handful neutrals, makes for a fantastic space. Like wise, as Eve has done, pushing your color over the top and incorporating more into your rooms, with patterns and textures works out beautifully. But that middle ground where some color is used, whether it's more than a little, but less than a lot, can leave a room feeling unfinished or troublesome. Like Yoda once said, "Do or do not. There is no try."
