It is my pleasure to introduce my little workspace at home. The office is actually a recovery of a former office secretary, which was offered free and I painted black. Formerly, the office was very large and massive. So I deleted all sides only to find myself with the board. Then I decided to affix feet found at IKEA for cheap. With the remaining office, I have built a square coffee table, covered with mirrors on all sides. Given its weight, I've put some wheels to move more easily. The chair was found in a garage sale for only $5. Finally, I placed two shelves above the desk to put in baskets, all papers and invoices.

Resource List:

  • Apple MacBook Pro
  • 20" Dell LCD screen
  • Airport Express
  • Apple Wireless Keyboard
  • Apple Mighty Mouse
  • Philips Digital Cordless Phone
  • 1TB LaCie Hard Disk

To maximize the space available, I opted to put my MacBook Pro up vertically using a support letter purchased at the dollar store. I connected my Mac to a 20" Dell LCD screen. I use an Apple wireless keyboard, small format, once again maximize the space up. I also use an external drive, LaCie 1TB, to archive all my work files. The only thing I have to do now is to hide all the wire hanging because it really irritates me.

Thanks Mathieu for sharing your work space!
