Many times we've come home from IKEA with one of the store's disposable tape measures floating around in our bag. When we saw these pendant lamps from designer Chrissy Angliker, we wished we'd have saved them all up to copy this idea.

We'd have to really pay attention to the wiring, coating and adhesive keeping the lamps together before we'd be comfortable using it. But after that, we'd love this over our work table.
