Simple modern medicine cabinets are hard to find - we know because we've been looking for one for months. While West Elm's Medicine Cabinet won't work in our space, we think that its clean lines make it a great option for the modern bathroom.
The cabinet also comes in white, and is currently on sale for $99.99 at West Elm.

It might be hard if you're looking for medicine cabinets at a "typical" furniture store (i.e., West Elm).
Try a bath hardware specialty store - you'll probably have better luck.
(Robern makes plenty of simple, modern medicine chests).
We just purchased a simple, modern Robern cabinet at Jack London Kitchen and Bath. I love their showroom! I think it's one of the best in the Bay Area. Their web site isn't too shabby either:

Did West Elm sponsor this post?
lol @ bepsf
I do like west elm though :)
How's Robern's pricing?
I've just been in a West Elm.
Couldn't leave fast enough!
Still that's not bad as far as austere, boxy, utilitarian medicine cabinets go. From the look of it, the materials will have cost West Elm around $15/unit.

The Ikea Vattern looks almost identical for $40-50 depending on depth.

Robern is excitingly expensive. Go to home EXPO to see some on display. If you like one google the model number and you can have one shipped to you for way less. Ikea is trash btw.
here's one from lowe's for $21.98.
