We love repurposing things that have fallen by the wayside due to age or trends and this medicine cabinet is no exception. It's probably a little small and outdated for most bathrooms, but it gets new life in your kitchen or entryway! See the transformation after the jump.

With a little bit of elbow grease, sand paper, paint and cork, this cabinet has a new life holding just the right amount of stuff and all in the same place.

Not only is it a great place to leave messages, pin up announcements and important invites to social events, but holds all the things you usually end up digging through your home office for before running out the door. Try adding stamps, writing utensils, even a hair pin or small package of tissues to make heading out the door a little easier.

You can check out the full step-by-step tutorial over at This Old House and check out your local Habitat For Humanity Re-Store for discarded medicine cabinets, you can usually find several hiding in a forgotten corner for less than the price of lunch!
