I might have a collection of over 1,000 lovely photos of kitchens (hey, I've been working on it for a long time), but these Mediterranean kitchens are some of my favorites. I love the way they combine texture, and color, and some seriously gorgeous patterned tiles to create a look that's both bold and refreshing. Although these seven spaces are from faraway homes, you'll be sure to find plenty of inspiration for the kitchen you have right here.
Above: The combination of those blue geometric tiles and blue cabinets has me completely in love with this kitchen, from a villa on the Italian island of Ponza, spotted on Decor Demon.
This is a Barcelona kitchen, spotted on The Style Files. I can't decide if I love the floor or the ceiling more.

The kitchen of Eva's Greek home is cozy and full of beautiful textures.
Cement tiles form a beautiful backsplash in this Italian kitchen from Milk Magazine.
And finally there's this kitchen from T Magazine, which is located in the Hamptons, a bit far from the Mediterranean, but was such a good exemplar of the style that I couldn't help including it.
