Here's a little bit about Jonathan...

Jonathan is the creative director and founder of J3 Productions, a design agency based in Orange County, CA. He is the blogger behind Happy Mundane, as well as the editor-in-chief of the newly launched, The Octopian.
and his favorite colorful room…

The living room of the Miller House in Indiana (seen above) has always stuck out to me. Achieving a balance with all those colors is a hard thing to do, but when you have a master like Alexander Girard at the helm, the results are timeless perfection. Originally, the upholstery for the sunken seating area and carpet were both in bright red tones. (In recent years, they've changed the upholstery to white, but it still totally works.) Aside from the amazing rainbow assortment of pillows, I also love how they painted different colors in the backs of the book cases in the wall.
Thanks Jonathan!
