Meet Your February Jumpstart Judge: Ami Kealoha

When we announce the winners of the February Jumpstart Project next Monday, there will be a winner in each category chosen by your reader votes. But we've also asked honorary judges to award a Judge's Choice honor to one more entry in each category.

For Unplggd, we've invited Cool Hunting managing editor, Ami Kealoha, to help us pick that honorary winner from our selection of entries. We recently had the pleasure of getting to hangout with Ami during our recent whirlwind trip over at the Philips Digital Media Event and learned two things: 1. the girl can drive...fast, and 2. we think if she could, she'd surgically graft her iPhone directly to her cerebellum. A short bio about our honorary judge below...

Here's a bit of Ami's background:

Born on a raspberry farm in Northern California, Ami worked at ReadyMade Magazine before moving to New York where she freelanced for New York magazine and Time Out, among others. Now Cool Hunting's managing editor, between hunting the cool and producing the award-winning series Cool Hunting Video, she's rarely bored. A sometime consultant to artists and curators, she has also run successful promotional campaigns and produced short films.
