Take an in-depth look at the Martha's Vineyard estate of actress Meg Ryan, who alongside designer Marsha Russell renovated and decorated a vintage home to highlight the quality of light pouring in from her pristine grounds.
Meg used loads of white paint, billowy gray draperies, soft furnishings, and era-appropriate light fixtures to create a relaxing space, a foil to her bubbly Hollywood persona. She chose an open floorplan that exposes the true structure of the house. This approach was taken only after Meg lived there for a year to learn about how the place really gets used - great advice for any homeowner.

It's beautiful because it looks exactly like what she wanted. It has all the touches of a lovely home.

Perfect - Exactly what I'd imagine a summer-cottage to be.
I remember seeing Meg Ryan quit a bit when I lived in Santa Monica I always loved her casual style, this very much looks like her. This would be the endless summer cottage if it were mine, beautiful.
Absolutely lovely! I'd love to have such a Summer house. The style would be too cold during the Winter months for me but the warmer seasons require fresh, crisp looks.
Gorgeous, the bathroom is to-die-for.
Funny, was just watching "You've Got Mail" for the millionth time last night and I'm still in love with her apartment and bookstore.
Honestly, I think it's pretty boring.
What does your house look like, elvedon?
Interesting yet serene
I expected it to be more....oh, I don't know...KOOKY?
