- I love the large window with shrubs growing just outside allowing a natural feeling inside. The shrub has berries which attract birds and that is a nice sound to wake up to!
- What are your tips for creating a beautiful, healthy and organized bedroom?
- Keeping it clean, airy, and not cluttered. I make the bed every morning which takes no time but really keeps it looking tidy.
- In modern homes, bedrooms have become more than just a place to sleep; they can be a retreat, a home office, a library, a relaxation zone. What are some ways you make the most of your bedroom?
- We have no television and never will in the bedroom. That includes a computer. I like to keep the bedroom purely a place to rest and sleep.

I adore that bed frame and headboard. This is the kind of airy, simple room I'd love to take an afternoon nap in. Perfect, down to the adorable dog and all!
This reminds me of my favorite apartment. It was actually a guest house, with a large private yard, so I would sleep with the door open (security door closed), and listen to the birds. This room has a really nice feel.

I forgot to mention the most important thing about our bedroom! My partner Steven made our bed frame! I feel like an idiot to have not mentioned that. Forgive me Steven! He spent 8 months working out of our tiny workshop and constructed the frame from cherry wood. We found the idea from a woodworking book and modified it slightly. I love it so much.
