It doesn't get much cuter or easier than this. If you're still trying to decide on what holiday cookies you'll be baking, here's one that the little ones will love making...and eating!
The cookies are a basic butter cookie with white icing that you let drip off the sides. You use marshmallows for the head and decorate the rest with different colors of icing. We found it on Crazy Domestic where she has her own easy version as well as links to other versions.

Nomade Express Slee...
How charmingly cute! Might have to add those into the holiday baking this year.
Genius-- love it!
This kind of reminds me of the end of "The Snowman." (wipes away tear.)
awesome.
Just made a batch for a cookie swap. I made my sugar cookie dough green to look like grass under the melting snowmen. I realize the grass is usually dead when it snows, but the green created a nice contrasted. I used homemade marshmallows, because I can't get the store-bought variety and discovered that they barely needed to be microwaved or else they became puddles. I also displayed a little sign with them that said, "He waved goodebye saying, "Don't you cry. I'll be back again someday."
I'm melting... oh wait wrong movie.
too adorable!
this is adorable.
Very Calvin-esque. :-D
