The SF Chronicle ran a story this last weekend that couldn't be more apropos for Collections Month on Apartment Therapy. Several design experts from around the city (including the owner of this amazing home in Noe Valley) share how they showcase their collections at home...
The amped-up gallery includes over 15 images of the experts' collections, from pins to CDs, snow globes, and - bowling balls? All arranged thoughtfully to integrate easily into the surrounding decor. Read the article here, and make sure to click the the photos too.

That picture bugs the heck out of me--who hangs art without clearing off breakable objects around it? I am sure it's all for show but I can barely stand to look at it!
what bugs me is the article, its just not that interesting, rehashed and poorly written..no wonder the SF Chronicle is barely surviving.
Sally305, no need to stress - it's not a picture of a woman hanging art, it's a picture of a woman straightening the art that was already hanging on the wall. Rorschak it baby and find the interpretation that won't cause an aneurysm. :-)
Tredeger: thanks, but it still bugs me. :)
