This is definitely not your average plain-Jane pot rack. Believe it or not, this ethereal-looking free-form rack from Kari Merkl, founder of the Portland-based design studio Merkled, is sturdy enough to hold your heaviest cast-iron pot.
Made from salvaged steel loom ends collected from a local weaving company, each pot rack is a one-of-a-kind creation. The rack can be mounted ceiling to wall or wall to wall, whatever works for your space. Powder-coated in three colors – ice blue, burnt orange, and white – as well as plain steel for all you purists. The standard size ($150) is roughly 3' by 1'3", but custom sizes and colors are also available.
