While exploring a few shops this weekend in the Temescal neighborhood of Oakland, we came across some wonderful and unusual creations by Primitive Twig at Scout Hardware. These whimsical metal sculptures are very playful and colorful. Check out more photos after the jump...

After we came home we had to look up the artists - Marcia and Bill Finks of Primitive Twig. They have been making art since 1990. Many of their sculptures are made of salvaged metal scraps, antique doll parts, old tins, and wide variety of vintage knick knacks. To see full collection, check out their website.
