We just can't get enough of metal siding—especially when it's rusty. The look isn't for everyone, but it's a true zero maintenance material.

We've thought about using on our house in Portland, and these images of vacation houses designed by Chicago Associates Planners and Architects are only adding fuel to the fire.

Copper is also attractive, and certainly more durable than Corten, but probably a bit too dear for our little green shack.
