We've all been doing a lot of traveling this year, and sometimes you get lucky with your hotel choice and sometimes you don't (I had wicker furniture last hotel I stayed in)! Either way, we're pretty sure anyone who stumbles across this hotel in Berlin won't have a problem..

The Michel Berger Hotel is a boutique hotel that stems from the creative minds of a group of friends. They collaborated and conjured up the idea of a budget hotel that feels more like you're staying in the guest room of your best buds house.
They want their hotel to be fun, rebellious, and an anything goes mentality- much like Berlin itself. We're loving the bright yellow curtains popping against the pale wallpaper behind the bed. The mixture of textures is also pretty amazing. If we stayed there I don't think we'd want to go home!
The Michel Berger Hotel opens today, and room rates start at 59 euro per night.

OMG, wicker furniture--the horrors! And you made it out alive!?!
when i saw the picture i didn't think the price would be anywhere near my (admittedly very low) idea of what i'm willing to pay for a hotel room. but 59 euro? fantastic! i love the unexpected yellow curtains. too bad i'm not planning a trip to berlin anytime soon.

Wow, that's a great color combination!

That is HOT! I love the wallpaper!
Gotta say, I'm a wicker fan. I mean, Dorothy Draper used it generously at The Greenbrier...
Can someone tell me where I can find those yellow curtains? They're perfect!
it IS that great! The Michel Berger is clean, cozy and super cool. The 65 euro price could be beat either. Whenever in Berlin stay at this hotel for sure.
