Consider the halls officially decked. First Lady Michelle Obama revealed the White House holiday decor this week, and that four fashion designers were chosen to decorate three public rooms.

The designers, all worn by the First Lady, each brought their own style to the task. Carolina Herrera decorated the China Room in plaid and Kailua blue bows as a nod to the Obama State China pattern; Duro Olowu brought in touches of Africa, Italy, and France to the Vermeil Room; and Carol Lim and Humberto Leon of Opening Ceremony and Kenzo decked the ground floor library in manuscripts and literary quotes.
