We already thought we brought you the surprisingly top-secret Microsoft mouse design before, but it turns out there is more to the story. It;s not really the design that's supposed to be revolutionary, but the technology. A few days back, Microsoft Hardware put up a teaser for a September 9th announcement featuring the tagline "Say Goodbye to Laser." Well now, an eagle-eyed Dane may have found it...
An Engadget reader spotted this MS Explorer Mini Mouse with "Blue Track" technology on Amazon.de.
Engadget discovered that Blue Track is based on a blue LED combined with a wide-angle lens that's supposed to work on more surfaces than laser and optical. And it seems that the mouse is designed to be portable, with the wireless mouse hub being built to click right in.

Aesthetically that actually looks kind of cool! Much better than the crap Microsoft has been designing lately. Hopefully they have changed the scroll wheel so that it clicks and has feedback, instead of the smooth scroll wheel that they have been using for a couple of years.
Wow! I might actually go back to using Microsoft mice. Whoa! I can't believe I just wrote that.
