What is the advantage of SMALL? First of all, my house is NOT small. Maybe on the outside, but inside I've got lots of room. That said, the advantage of my house is that I can a. easily get up on the roof b. make sure no one bad gets in the front door and c. fly really easily...

What's your favorite resource for your home?
DIY - I really like to do everything myself. Woodstock helps though. His house is actually nicer than mine.
What is your one favorite element in your small, cool home?
The interior.
Despite my tendency to stay outside in all weather, the interior of my doghouse is extraordinary. It defies physics, being dramatically larger on the inside than the outside, with a carpeted foyer, a den, a library, a guest room, a stairway and a basement.
The interior has been decorated with several beautiful things including my painting by Van Gogh. After the fire destroyed the Van Gogh, however, I replaced it with an Andrew Wyeth. At various times the interior of my doghouse also has held bunk beds, a pool table, a ping pong table, a television, a mural (painted by Linus), a shower, a cedar closet, a grandfather clock, and a jacuzzi. BRILLIANT!
Enough w/ the April Fools jokes. Thanks.
Love it!
Yay!
I always thought the den had a certain panache. Must've been Woodstock's influence.
Though it must be said that I would have liked to have seen a floorplan... :)
i agree, hindulovegod. woodstock could always accessorize.
I quite like the home office set up, but question the security of having the house suspended in mid air. Also, the red paint is not in the same palette of the grass and air, and the contrast is too extreme.
So you're saying that when you fly with the house, do you fly with the basement or without? And where DID you get that scarf??!!
I would have liked to see a more detailed floor plan. But perhaps Snoopy likes to maintain a bit of mystery.
Cool, indeed! Nice rooftop deck Snoop. I was wondering how you shade yours? Mine gets a lot of sun too and am looking for some shade options.
And oh yeah, no fair on the 8 photos!
Actually, Woodstock's birdhouse interior in (I think) "It's the Easter Beagle, Charlie Brown" is rocking.
Cool, of course. Don't you remember that Snoopy is "Joe Cool"?
You managed to fit a lot into 10 square feet! You should definitely win the contest.
my fave so far...
This house doubles as a classy snow cone machine, too.
Red is such a power color too. I am loving it!
I was really excited until I saw that there are no pictures of the interior. I've always wanted to see what it was like inside. Is it painted, covered with fur... what's the floor like? :(
I think Charlie Brown's mother said it best: "whaaa whaaa whaaa whaaaa whaaa whaaaaaa."
LOL nougat!
The contest has really gone to the dogs this year. Seriously, where are the standards? This is nothing but a flea-infested shack without even the most basic indoor plumbing.
I'd put in French doors to capture the view of the pumpkin patch.
Hey Patrick ... I was just going to say the same thing! (About Woodstock's place in the Easter Beagle special) and fair props always to my pal snoop, but I prefer the interior of Charlie Brown's or Peppermint Patty's houses the most ... totally rad midcentury furniture abounds. I swoon all day while I'm flipping through the archives at work here.
What, no floorplan?! I'm not sure we can judge this entry without a floorplan...
The red door is great feng shui.
I thought there was a six photo maximum? :-)
Frankly, it's not fair since the square footage isn't converted into dog-size. This place might not qualify. Also, as others have stated, it needs a floorplan.
Still... I have to give it top marks because... HELLO!!!
...it flies.
That was just fun, we all know Snoopy has great style for a k9 cartoon strip. :)
No interior shots?
Love it!!! I'm moving in!
I remember the interior of this, and it's fantastic - but I do think that Woodstock's is nicer but unlike Snoopy's, he can't entertain there
When my girlfriend sends me to the doghouse, this is where I want to be!
Quick question: Is it expensive to insure a flying house? How much are the premiums? Thanks Snoop!
