This week we are taking on the media that sometimes seems to consume us. Maybe the wire tangles behind your TV are on your list, or perhaps the revolving door of blank media in your home office? Either way this week we are taking charge, clearing the clutter and then taking a step back from it with a day of media fasting.
We are just over the half way point and some of us might be feeling a bit of a drag, but that's no worry because without a little growing pain, progress isn't made. So check out the great links to fabulous food and several ways to keep your home office in check after the jump....
This Week's Assignment (Deep Treatment): This week, we're getting rid of old paperwork, decluttering files, and dealing with the crazy mess that is the pile of cords behind our desks. We're also prepping the room for wall color and trying out paint samples. If you are afraid to pick a color, paint a few swatches and post them up for us to see in the Flickr Pool! We're always willing to lend a helping hand!
This Week's Assignment (One-Room Workout): In the One-Room Workout, we're shopping! Take care not to bring filler pieces or impulse purchases into your home. Although something might seem too cheap to pass up, it will cost you later when it becomes clutter and you have to figure out what to do with it. We're also prepping the room for wall color and trying out paint samples.
We are still cooking at home and as the seasons change it can be truly inspiring to work with seasonal foods. Check out some of our favorite ideas over at The Kitchn.
