If you've ever gotten tired of the lampshades in your home, check out this pretty cool pendant lamp called the Miformi. Designed by Ramin Razani, this polypropylene lamp can be transformed into twenty different shapes that are similar to George Nelson's bubble lamps or Ray Power's Nut pendant.

The Miformi lamp in its packaging and what it looks like in its original shape.
The Miformi lamp comes in white, orange, and blue and is available at Officina Crea.

I'd love to see more photos of the light, on and off, in its different configurations. I love the concept, but it seems like the light might be a bit jarring through some of the potential shapes. I'm not into bare lightbulbs! This idea reminds me of the IQ Light, which I love:

how much are these? i'm assuming they are ridiculously priced even though they look sorta cheap but the website doesn't say.
Ikea sells hanging light bulbs like this for their paper lanterns for like $3-4 - I think if you find the right affordable and heat durable/safe material you would be good to go under $10.
fun!
good idea for the person who loves to change their lighting-look without buying an entirely new light.
