You know the old adage, "when life gives you lemons...make a maze wall." Miki wrote from Tel Aviv to share her latest home project:
My son was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes last month. After the initial shock and adjustments to a new routine, I felt it would be best to keep busy with things both me and my son enjoy…
We decided to re-do his room to incorporate the new situation (needles and insulin pens within reach). My son's a minimalist and has a tiny room so the wall feature we came up with had to be light and airy, yet whimsical and intriguing so we created a huge maze above his bed.
Thanks Miki!

You should add whiteboard paint so he and his friends can "solve it" :)
Caseyinto - good idea! I did however add a starting point...
The maze fits in really well with the rest of his room. It looks like a curious, smart, and kind of silly boy lives here. By the way, are those googly eyes on those pillows?!
He is all that and much more.... Thanks Girl Jen! And these googly eyes are from "Urban Outfitters"
Very sweet room. Love the simplicity and fun. Where did you get the rug?
Wonderful idea. I love the room. Take care :)
Thank you all! The rug is from ikea.
