Mila Goes Pink & Green Bedroom

My Room

Name: Mila (3)
Location: Danville, California

When Mila was younger, I decorated her room mainly in hot pink and gray. However, as she grows older, she's crazy for green color. She had been asking to repaint her room green. Instead of repainting the whole room her favorite color, I told her that I will accessorize her room with lots of green accents.

We did built-in shelves to utilize the nook in both side of the windows. That gives us plenty of storage as well as adding green color through displays. The artwork above her play table are from her finger painting projects. I cut them up and framed them in grouping with green frames from IKEA. We added a green giraffe growth chart. That gives a good punch of green color in one corner of a wall. My favorite piece is her chevron bedding from Land of Nod. It's super cheery and the candy color stripes pull the whole room together.

Thanks, Nina! Readers, see Mila's room before this recent makeover at Swanky Swell and visit Nina at her Etsy shop.
