I love those! Adele is awesome, and so is Mila.
These pics are soooo adorable--I saw them on Design Mom yesterday and fell in love. I definitely admire Adele's creativity, her daring willingness to disturb a sleeping baby, AND her postpartum energy.
Beautiful, amazing and so much fun. I envy Adele though--for months my daughter would only nap if she was being held. Mila is apparently a grand napper!
The last one made me laugh out loud! So much fun!
These are precious. Love Mila's head on the paper plate... so creative!
I stumbled upon this just this morning on Twitter! Hilarious and adorable. What a cute idea.
I LOVE it. I so wish I was as creative as Adele.
I saw this post on design mom the other day -- one of the most creative blog ideas i've seen in a long time. adorable!
Oh wow, these are amazing, it nearly makes me want to have another baby so that I can have a go myself!
I feel the same was as jojoebi! I wished I had the energy and the creativity as Adele when my daughter was an infant.
wow, wow, wow. I'm totally inspired. I'll be on maternity leave in a few months and i hope i can turn down time into such creative moments.
Seriously? Let that poor child sleep. With the same little blankey every day. And Momma... you better sleep now, 'cause she ain't gonna let you later. Why didn't I have enough time for such "creativity"? Because I was busy catching up on my own sleep, or the housework, or maybe reading the first adult books in years...
I honestly think this is weird and creepy, and not very nurturing.
Oh c'mon Gypsymomma! Let's not turn this into an attack on parenting, lighten up a bit huh? Surely paernts who have no sense of humour aren't too nurturing either?
These pics will be treasured forever and it's such a short period of time that they're like this. I think she's celebrating her little person and for sure she'd set it all up beforehand, then quickly snap baby before putting her safely back in her bed.
I think they're adorable pics :)
These are super cute and I will endeavour to do the same during the remaining 3 weeks on my mat leave (boo hoo!), and I do wonder, like gypsymomma, where Adele finds the time, but hey, good on her! Maybe her partner helps with housework, ha ha!
This post makes me smile :) If I thought I was over wanting another baby (my 3rd turns 1 in 2 days!!) I was WRONG! haha Thanks for sharing your sweet baby with us :)
They are so sweet!! Love them!!
So glad you had the energy to capture such moments for the future. Your little one will LOVE these pics when she gets older.
What wonderful memories. I think having fun and creating beautiful keepsakes is a little more important than making sure the sink is clean.
These days go by so quickly, what a wonderful way to commemorate them.
This is so awesome! I am trying for another and hope I can remember to try this!
Oh my gosh that last one is hilarious! And the one with the balloons is so precious, I love it.
I love Mila's daydreams. But AT, wow, you're getting a lot of material from Design Mom lately--you usually have more original stuff. I guess we're both reading her every day. She's a great lady.
This is such a lovely idea, and how lucky to have a heavy sleeper. My youngest is a heavy sleeper and it's just fantastic.
I actually did the 365 project with my four/five kids from last June til this June, and I so wish I had thought to go the extra mile like this!
And the "playground mummy" in me, read GypsyMomma's comment and immediately went "no need to be jealous, honey"
My husband sent this to me the other day. These pictures are so, so cute they make me want to have a baby, and I already have a baby. No way she'd sleep through this though, which is a shame because I love the idea.
My four year old keeps asking me to show her the pictures over and over and, oh, to have a heavy sleeper!
Cute, obviously, but whoa with the hipster Anne Geddes. :-)
Super cute!
Um, are people really attacking another person's parenting skills b/c of cute pictures...REALLY??? Amazing...
I am completely jealous of any new mother who has the time/energy/creativity to do this. There I said it. But in no way do I think it's a sign of bad parenting. They are so adorable.
From Adele's blog:
"I use only few minutes per picture, including creating idea, implementation and editing, 'cause I don't want to disturb her sleeping and most of my time is for my family."
how inventive!!!
I LOOOOOVE THIS IDEA!!!! I saw it and thought- this is GENIUS! I could tell the set ups were super quick and did not disturb the cutie posing in her sleep. I just love that the materials are more "found objects" than model perfect Anne Geddes type costumes. I am inspired and so glad I got to see these! These are good enough to go on cards and onesies.
I've seen several people comment on how "that baby should be asleep in her crib". Clearly she's not being hurt by any of this. My first napped on the living room floor most days until he was 2.5 or so. He was only child (at the time) so he was perfectly safe and comfortable. I remember being so bored those first few months, I could have used a hobby like this I think these photos are adorable.
Just GORGEOUS and hilarious. I too have a daughter called Mila so loving your style!!!
The creativity in these shots is mind-blowing - I aspire to COPY just one! Lovely, sentimental, and very funny at the same time.
