For many people, city living means a lack of personal outdoor space, which is one reason why public parks are so important. In Chicago, we're lucky to have a number of well-cared-for parks. One of them - Millennium Park - boasts the world's largest green roof. Built over a rail yard, the park itself is one big, long-span roof covered in plazas, gardens and grasses...

We think Millennium Park is a great example of landscaping that responds to the city architecturally while creating an oasis of green space on Michigan Avenue. Well-loved by Chicago residents and visitors, the park is always full of people. A few photos from our recent visit:
