I really like the wall treatment behind the TV. I also enjoy the color-blocked curtains in the corner by the piano.
Nice work!
I really like this. Well done!!
clean, neat but too much matching going on.
I like this color combination: bright AND calm.
My favorite colors! My favorite picture is the last one with the piano! Love the color blocked curtains!
Where is the white twig like artwork on the window wall from?
The best achievement here is the handling of the green accent wall -- the recessed look and the texture of the paneling make the contrasting color seem natural and justified, not just whimsical and random. This idea is supported further by the fact that the TV means this focal point really is the focal point.
However: The color scheme is so ruthlessly enforced (even metastasizing into the bedroom beyond) that the effect is too stagey and impersonal. There is so much announcing of "I obsess about my decor" that this room is almost the latter-day equivalent of having clear plastic covers over the upholstery. It's a lovely room, but it needs to welcome a few random personal items in unexpected colors or else it's going to be too easy to imagine the decorator saying "Sorry, kids, but Grandma can't visit anymore. She doesn't match."
This is well put together, but way too matchy-matchy.
Gorgeous!
So beautiful. I love the blue and green with a zap of turquoise!
