There's a reason Mini Jake is one of our favorite NYC stores for babies and kids. Mini Jake has just about all the coolest stuff you could want or need AND they have a registry. Sure, Babies 'R Us is great for those basic things- but this is where we'd register for the fun stuff. It's like the owners at Mini Jake have sorted through everything out there and chosen the best for you. Mini Jake has all the hottest manufacturers of baby furniture and gear, but we really love their room accents. Check out this star egg nightlight by J Schatz. Light spills out of the tiny holes and creates a starry sky in baby's room...we actually contemplated getting one of these for our own room at one point.

These wall panels by notNeutral come in sets of 4 for $75. Use them to dress up your child's room, or even for organization in your kitchen or office. They're a pretty place to hang the family calendar or your little one's latest artwork. This "Planet of Flowers" rug from Haba would brighten up any child's room. It's wool with a textile backing. We love the colors and original design. If you're expecting- why not register at MiniJake? And if you like what you see here, you might want to check out TwoJakes.com- they started MiniJake a couple of years ago- it's where the adults shop.
