I've never been one to be content with following instructions or even using things for their intended purpose. So when I recently had the chance to install some of these magnetic flowers on the wall, of course I was already plotting how else I could use the idea behind them.
These flowers have a built-in magnet in the backside of each. You then simply hammer a nail with a large head into the wall and it sticks right to it. Assuming you don't want to physically hang things with the flowers themselves, I instantly thought about those mighty magnets which could be used with a nail instead.
They would allow you to hang photos, artwork or even strings for bunting or other party decor. It's a thought to throw in the back of your mind as the combination is rather brilliant and allows all the flowers on this wall to be interchangeable. It would give you the same freedom with weekly artwork, notes, important papers and more!

Neat! The possibilities are endless! :)
Where can these be found?
Hmm, good idea! I don't really like the flower magnets, but I never thought about using nails (or screws) and those strong little magnets.....I might put some in my kitchen to hang up my kids' artwork!
They're by Umbra and called Wallflowers. You can get them from Umbra, Bed Bath Beyond and Amazon. They come in a bunch of colors.
