Here's an eco-Lamp with flexibility. We value versatility in nearly every aspect of life. So when a pendant lamp can claim flexibility as an attribute, then kudos to its makers. In this case, we're talking about the shapely but simple Lamp L from Mio, a commendable eco-oriented company based in Philadelphia…

The L Lamp, which comes in partly recycled-content and fully recyclable white, matte black, and silver powder-coated aluminum, would be a great task pendant for a desk area or kitchen corner. But perhaps you like it so much that you decide to make the lamp more of a focal point in the center of a room but it's too small. Then you can just add a ring to the rim to expand its size! The ring comes in all three colors so you can go for high contrast (white lamp with black ring) or a monochromatic look (white ring on white lamp).

Mio, the company behind the L Lamp (which is made in the U.S) is guided by a philosophy of "responsible desire." "All of our products use materials that can be easily recycled with existing infrastructures, fit into closed loop manufacturing systems available today or fit seamlessly with natural ecosystems."
