My wife and I got stopped 2 or 3 times by people while we were walking through target with a couple of these pieces.
Then, it took awhile to get through the checkout!
love the vanity trays. Not so sure about the mirrored tables though - would be a nightmare to keep clean!
Just to warn you, I bought the jewelry box, and two days later one of the mirrored pieces fell off.
I bought a side table similar to the one pictured above (except it was round on top) - looks great and more expensive than it really was! also from single...it's easy to keep clean - swiffer does the trick =)
I don't dig the look. The partial reflections bother me. (Apparently it's also bad feng shui). They seem cheap and tacky to me... I associate mirror overuse with bad 80s decor.
If you do want to decorate with mirrored accessories (or any mirror, especially small ones), make sure it reflects something you want it to.
I have the side table shown here (as a nightstand in my guest room), and I have to warn you that it is sort of a get-what-you-pay-for item. Looks great from afar, but upclose you notice that the mirrors aren't glued on straight. And they don't fit squarely around the legs. It wasn't quite bad enough to return it, but I was close to doing so.
Everyone needs some "fake glamor" in their life and these items (at least the tables) are made a lot better than the ones in West Elm and are a lot cheaper.
I love the trays.
Check out eBay for vintaged mirrored vanity trays! But I wouldn't hesitate to buy that oval mirrored tray at Target, either if I liked it!
I have the jewelery box. The interior is laid out well and it's all lined with beige felt, not black felt (which gets linty fast and makes it hard to find things). I like how it matches with any color scheme. A
(P.S. I'm sure that NoVA just had a bad box because I've had mine for a year or so now and have moved it cross country and nothing has fallen off.)
