If you like the look of a framed art collage on a wall but don't have content to show off, you can always fill those frames with mirrors for a unique and softer effect.

This treatment allows favorite frames to act as the focal point in a room, and it refracts the view in an interesting way. The selection of frames and composition of your arrangement can make a personal statement as strong as hanging actual art. This basic idea has many different applications - you can bundle mirrors closely together to form one large art piece, paint frames the same color to add a sense of cohesion to the collection, rest them on picture ledges, or hang them as a collage.

Most europeans seem to use plain old tiles...are other materials significantly more expensive in europe? I don't remember seeing too many nice looking bathrooms in european homes.
Other than the obvious size and shape, the mirrors as staged in each of these pictures don't seem mismatched to me. But yes, I support the idea.
too many mirrors! bad luck.
I have done this in my bedroom and foyer - the amount of light increased is dramatic.
I love the first pic - it would never look as good without the exposed brick. I so want an exposed brick but my BF says it makes him feel very uncomfortable. Grr.
i like the idea and think 1 and 2 look great. we have a lot of mirror in our home and it has brightened significantly.
I've been trying to figure out what type of artwork to hang on the wall above my headboard in the bedroom and am thinking this might be the way to go. I've always been drawn to antique and vintage mirrors in second hand shops, but have never purchased them because I wasn't sure what I'd do with them or where to put them ...this could be the solution. Someone posted too many mirrors are bad luck? Is that feng shui?
i like the look but i would never do that in my home, i think it's distracting when you're trying to do something and see movement out of the corner of your eye
I like the anthro mirror.
I like euro tiles...
Love the first photo!
