These are absolutely adorable! I love the Saplings Wallpaper in Yellow. And that they are hand printed. I think products are just that more special when they are hand crafted, a throwback to the time where the machine simply aided the designer.
While the others are nice, the Muscat print looks like an Eames knock-off
And the saplings print looks like an Orla Kiely design.
Looks like Orla Kiely and miss print are both inspired by nature. At least the one's ive seen seem to differ enough. I really like the yellow one!
Nice pattern, do you just print it on lamp shades or you produce lamp shades too? Attractive design, good job.
May I know your printing tools? In what type of fabrics? Thx.
Chances are that Miss Print produces these by screen printing and I believe their lamps shades are made of duppion silk. The lamp shades are created after the fabric is made. They have their set sizes but they can also do custom orders.
The patterns are stunning. The colors are so rich. Since orange is my favorite color, the Muscat Lampshade in Orange takes the first place, then comes the Panache Lampshade in White. Fleur Wallpaper in Lime and Exotique Lampshade in Pistachio are ex aequo in third place.
oh look more twee.
I love it. Want! The white shades with yellow printing just kill me... I especially like the one that looks like dandelions.
I don't know if I can live with my walls talking back at me and competing with everything in the room. I understand there's a resurgence of wall papering but I feel it needs to be subtle and the graphics must not get tiresome too quickly.
Then there's this "afan" to retro the 50's and 60's and God knows the only thing worse than that were the 70's. When you've actually lived through these eras you don't want to repeat the nightmares. Very few designs are brilliant and original then everyone lesser knocks it off and we are left with cheesy wall paper and those who don't know the difference. Go know!
