Name: Miss Rock Location: Moorpark, CA Type:1 bedroom/Rent Why I use color: I love to bring like colors and tone on tones together as my base color scheme. Then I'll use a few accents around the room for interest to keep the eye flowing. I have been known to change my wall color somewhat obsessively. I find it is one of the more inexpensive ways to drastically change a room. Try painting different sections of a room different shades of one color for depth. If you can't make up your mind on one color then use them all! If it makes you happy then you can surely find a way to make it work. 2 Good color tips: 1. Go with your emotions and gut. If you think that shade of red is too bright, then it probably is. 2. We all make mistakes. Once you start painting that wall and you realize that it is going to be too overwhelming to live with the color you chose, then just put down the brush and walk away. Walk straight back to the paint store and get a color that makes you happy. 2 Good color resources: 1. The produce section of your local grocery store. 2. A really great fabric or textile store.
