ID Magazine's Design Review is out and while we LOVE the magazine, not many of their picks got our blood pumping. Could it have been that slow a year in design? One sexy little space saving number that we did like, however, was the Mission M Cube (£1200), which is billed as "discreet home-theater system" and consists of one main cube and five small satellites. It looks like an iPod crossed with a Bose system... or a discreet air purifier, perhaps?
Designed by Seymourpowell (London), the M Cube also sports a soft white color, rounded edges and interchangeable ultrasuede "wraps" which allow you to "match your system to your decor." Aesthetics aside, both Tech Digest UK and The Mirror give it the thumbs up in terms of sound quality. This is powerful little rig. MGR
