Let's start with my expectations of the line: I knew that to make these items so affordable, some quality would be sacrificed. Nevertheless, I purchase many quality items at Target and I was counting on most of the Missoni items to be well-made. I expected to be returning an item or two.
1. Product: Chevron Bath Towels
Review: I am thrilled to death with these towels, especially after a few disappointing deliveries. The towels are plush, vibrant, and have incredible detailing for the price. You can see the striped edging of the towels in the photo, a detail definitely above the $12.99 price tag. I would have paid double, maybe even triple the original price tag for these towels.
2. Product: Chevron Throw
Review: I was hugely disappointed with this throw. The online picture makes this throw look so incredibly beautiful but it's made of polyester and the feel of the blanket is barely one step up from that of The Snuggie. It's fleece-like material diminishes the quality of this beautiful print and I severely doubted it would hold up after a few washings. Returned. Definitely not worth the going price on eBay ($200).
3. Product: Infant Clothing
Review: You can see here my one month old baby next to the three month romper. Needless to say maybe she will fit into it when she is six months to a year? She's not terribly small so I'm not sure where they got their sizing info. Be warned, if you want to purchase these items, they run big!
4. Product:Missoni Glass Serve Bowl
Review: I am usually impressed by Target's dishware and this was no exception. The design is just breathtaking and it feels sturdy enough to withstand the dinner party passing and serving. I wish I had bought more dishware and serving pieces. For the current asking price, I may pick up some more pieces on eBay.
5. Product: Zig Zag Pouf
Review: This by far is the best Missoni product. The pouf is large (the photo shows the scale next to my sofa and 75 lb lab) and sturdy. The fabric is thick and will definitely withstand shoes, feet, wine glasses, dinner or whatever else will surely be placed on top. I may scotch guard it just to be safe. For $99 this was definitely worth it. It pulls together my living room and adds the Missoni flare I was hoping for without looking like Target threw up in my living room. On eBay they are priced $50-$100 higher than the retail price, but it's definitely worth it.
All in all, there were some definite hits and some definite misses. Add your review below... what did you get your hands on?

Shaw's Original Fir...
They still had plenty of missoni at my local target. I was thrilled until I got a closer look, it just wasn't very cool up close. I had to pass on all of it. It didn't really look any different than any of the other target stuff they usually have.
All I bought was the black and white zig zag candle. I have some new bookshelves coming and I thought the candle would look cute next to some clearance picture frames I found at Target (not Missoni). I did try on some super cute pumps (charcoal grey with zig zags on the toe) that I came THIS CLOSE to buying - but I really couldn't justify them at the time. The dishware that I saw was soooo pretty, but I resisted those as well. :-)
Completely off topic, but your baby is absolutely adorable!!! I just love her little toes!!!!
I picked up one of the vases and it's absolutely gorgeous. I really wanted to get some of the glassware, but haven't been able to find it anywhere other than ebay.
When will Missoni be back in Target?
I snagged that serving bowl as well, and I love it. It feels so heavy and substantial, and the colors in the glass are really pretty. Would have bought it regardless of the brand. Def. worth the $30 price tag.
I bought two of the glass vases (similar to your serving bowl) and they are gorgeous - lovely heavy glass with bright colors. These seemed a steal at the retail price.
I also managed to snag two pillows - nice for the price, but I wouldn't pay more than the retail price (about $30) for them.
I'm with Jenny A -your daughter is adorable. Definitely the cutest thing in the above pictures, second is your dog, and a distant third would be the pouf :)
Congrats on the pouf! I would've picked that up if we had a place for it. Our local Target was cleared out of Missoni on launch day morning, so I went online to purchase some clothing, the umbrella, and some pillows. The Famiglia one-piece bathing suit is fabulous as is the Polo Dress. The fabric quality is just great. The pentagonal 'Patchwork' pillow set, however, will be returned. The material is just a bit too flimsy for me. I'm still waiting on a few items like the umbrella, stockings, and socks. I agree that sizing runs a bit big. Overall, what a great line!
I bought a 24 piece bobby pin set item number #38464 for $6.99 and I LOVE THEM. They are very stylish and the best thing is they hold strong and they DO NOT PULL MY HAIR. It's groundbreaking.
The design is abstract on each individual pin or barrette, but all in a row on the packaging, they create an abstract floral design that is beautiful and unique.
Agree on the baby romper. I planned to grab one and when I saw it in the store was disappointed. It looked sooo long! I did grab a cardigan sweater (black/browns) and was surprised at the weight of it. I love it! Glad I was able to get one.
My local Target had some stuff left, but I passed on most. I got a set of pencils in a cute chevron box. I would have loved to get the pouf. All in all - meh.
you will be amazed what a one month old will grow to fit into. Don't despair, she'll wear that romper before winter's end.
i was considering ordering the pouf in purple. good to see a review of it. however, if it is nolonger available online, then i don't need it.
Just a little gossip, I'm from Minneapolis (home of Target's Headquarters) so pretty much everyone knows at least one other person who works at corporate and this Missoni blowout has been the big buzz all over town. From what I hear they're not planning on getting anymore Missoni and are scrambling to fill their shelves with something new, as this line was *supposed* to last for about 2 months! I'm eager to see what the creative team brings in to replace it and keep all the excitement going for the holiday shopping season. (especially cuz, I'm honestly not that crazy about Missoni. Just reminds me of southwestern stuff)
I scored one of the totes online and I must say it is quite fabulous! It is well constructed and is a real pop of colour, just right for the fall/winter.
ummmm.....your place looks awesome. When do we get a house tour?
@AJenniferOriginal -Those bobby pins are cute!
I got the set of canisters, the purple zig zag platter and the purple hand towel. I'm happy with all the items, which I purchased online. However I would have loved to browse the rest of the line at the local Target, which was cleared that same morning (with people waiting in line since 4am that day!). The only other thing that I had thought I might want was the purple/hot pink throw pillow and the matching throw.
I like the bowl, but I've never been a Missoni fan and wasn't at all impressed with most of what I saw here and elsewhere. As I expected, a lot of it was very poor quality. At least you got a few nice pieces, and as you said, you can unload what you don't care for on Ebay.
I wanted the pencils, which were stocked in about 10 stores, nationwide. I'm not paying for them on Ebay.
Where is the white reading chair from? WANT!
I absolutely will not buy into the hysteria! I think a lot of the pieces are very nice, but I am hating the ebay vultures and Target for allowing and encouraging the hysteria and piracy of the situation. I like target but this is too much. Shame on you Target!
I wasn't so lucky in the initial craze, but a couple of days ago I was at Target and there was a rack of things I had wanted. Apparently someone with my taste and size had returned it. I was so excited, but once I tried it all on, I came home with nothing. No matter how good it looks, if it doesn't look good on, there's no point.
I was super excited about this collection, but I got stuck at home with sick kids the week it came out. By the time we got a chance to go to Target, it was pretty picked over. My sweet husband did manage to sneak off and grab me a serving platter. Its really heavy duty. If anyone was thinking of buying these...totally worth it.
XO - looks like an Ikea Poang chair - or an iteration thereof.
shame on Target for what? It's not their fault people went nuts over the inferior version on the real stuff. Of course people are going buy it all and ebay it.
...in other news the top of Target HQ is lit up in a Missoni pattern...so much cooler than pretend Missoni
Call me crazy, but I don't understand the appeal in this collection. It looks poorly made and the patterns of the "Missoni" brand are tired and not innovative. I'm just worried that marketing, again, has influenced our idea of good taste.
I got a dress and skirt and the quality was really good, better than I expected. The laptop case was also really nice and well made, with a heavy duty zipper and leather zipper pull. I was disappointed with the scarf, though, it was thin and cheap feeling. I will be returning it to the store. I will not be unloading it on eBay.
I'm not even attempting such large and loud prints on my short 4'11" self. I sat back and watched the world go crazy when the line dropped. Very entertaining!
reclaimedspaces, some of the Missoni for Target line matches the quality of Missoni couture. I've worn Missoni couture. It is also real Missoni, albeit, much more affordable Missoni.
I ordered online 2 of the square poufs. I love them. One is not quite as well-finished as the other, but it's not glaring. Colors are exactly what I'd hoped. Seems very firm, and I love the rounded top.
Shame on Target for not producing enough to meet demand or perhaps limiting supply to increase demand. Seems slimy to me, in my opinion. Buy all you want, I am sure it makes you and Target happy. I do not like to feed frenzies if I can help it. I also do not shop on black Friday so maybe I am a retail disappointment.
Your baby is adorable!!! The serving bowl and pouf are pretty cute too. : )
I went to my local Target the day after launch. There was a cart with 20 some odd items in it that the store grouped together, but nothing I was really interested in. Last weekend I was at Target and found several pairs of Missoni stockings and bought a navy pair. They are AMAZING, and at $16, well worth the price. Now I'm wishing I had bought the brown pair as well. (And after reading the comments I wish I had checked the home decor section for new arrivals.)
@Micki Howl
I wanted one of those throws you didn't like. If you haven't returned to the store, can I buy one? please!! I liked them, they are super soft and warm.
I purchased a clutch as a gift and a tray for myself. The tray was very large and had some imperfections in the design so I was a bit disappointed, but not enough to return. The clutch looks cute and I know my sister will love it!
I'm always skeptical of Target quality, and when I saw some items at my local target, I wasn't surprised to see that the towels looked extremely thin and the tights were polyester and cheap-looking. I think kitchenware was the best way to go with Missoni for Target! It sold out first and not a thing was leftover at the store!
@melissaodesign
I'm so sorry, the throw is already spoken for!!
@XO
The white chair is indeed the Poang lounger from Ikea. It is SO COMFORTABLE!
I went online just as the Missoni stuff launched (my daughter conveniently woke up with a nightmare so I was up!). I was able to order a bunch of stuff:
The poufs: I agree, fantastic. Very sturdy, comfy, and great design. I would pay more than $99 for each for sure.
B&w chevron Travel tote: was great-looking but has a label warning of LEAD & says wash hands after touching. Returned immediately.
Toddler clothes: also ran a little big but for the most part I'm really impressed with the quality. The 3 pc prep bowl set: very cute - worth $30 but probably not more.
Long sleeve b&w dress I picked up for myself is adorable, fits well, and is better quality than I expected. Def worth $55 (or around).
UP FOR GRABS: I have a throw & 2 pillows in the purple/lime green combo (passione) and a b&w king duvet cover set. Happy to sell for the price I paid at the store (+CA tax & shipping). if you're interested: baltorocks@gmail.com
bethy2183, the classic space-dye tights that I bought from the Missoni for Target collection are 68% cotton, 25% nylon, and 7% spandex. No polyester involved. They look and feel great.
I was up very early to make an online purchase. My throw, candles and robe are backordered but I have received
the men's silk tie: very nice
the martini shaker: love it
the large melamine tray: bigger than I thought
and bobby pins: they're bobby pins, what can I say?
Adding to the off topic chorus of "your baby is absolutely adorable!"
I ordered the square pouf online and was pleasantly surprised when it arrived. While it's not heirloom quality, it is sturdy for the price ($79) and looks great in my studio.
Real Missoni is beautiful stuff. I'd love to have a dress some day. I'd also like to be 20 and wearing a Missoni bikini in St. Tropez right this minute.
But Missoni for Target just sounds awful. The devil is in the details.
So off topic but I see it's okay... That Table!!! NEED.. I have been telling my husband I want a small table for just two chairs...Where? what would be the best description to look it up and find it online
The reviews are perfect... I didn't get caught in the cray but thought about the throw... glad to read all above reviews! Thanks
Oh thank you for the review on the throw! I was crushed that I didn't get one but now that I see it's a fleece-y material I'm relieved! I hate that gross material!!!
I'm super happy with the stationary I got. I have sent out 4 letters on it already!
Am I missing something??? I just don't get this craze.
I also got the laptop bag and saw the lead warning- I wasn't keeping that around. I was lucky enough to find the flats in my size (7!) and it was the last pair! I got a few mugs for co-worker holiday gifts and a travel bag that looks great (I didn't see a lead label on this one- I'll have to check)
I just thought it was incredible how fast it sold out. I saw them setting the display one day and then the next almost every thing was gone. All our Target had left was shoes, office supplies and some sleepwear.
I picked up the large blown glass vase and it is stunning. It's the same pattern as the bowl above. I would have been willing to pay twice as much as I did at Target, so it was a really great value.
The picture frame was very low quality. I got the blue one, and it immediately chipped (it was kind of a melamine plastic material). And then when I took the mat out to put in a photo frame, the Missoni pattern scratched against the glass. Only $10 but still a bummer. I bought two media boxes and they're cute and good quality. I also bought a headband, which is also cute, and hard to mess up a headband.
Yeah, I think your baby is the best thing of all!
Oh Missoni for Target... I was lucky to find a comforter set that had been repackaged for under $80, bright and vivid just as you would expect from Missoni Home. I also bought my daughter a sweater, a circle scarf, socks, and a notebook. I would say it is in line with Target quality. I am sort of Missoni spoiled as last year I found a REAL Missoni sweater at TJ Maxx for under $90 (It was a return and slightly large, but I am NOT one to pass up a deal).
I have a GIANT 3-month-old and had to pass on the romper as the smallest size was way too big. Disappointing, but I suppose that's why I actually saw one in-store when I arrived at noon.
I ordered those same turquoise zig zag towels. I agree that they are pretty nice for the low price. I also purchased the throw. While I expected the polyester, I was disappointed in the size - so tiny! - but I plan to keep it keeps me pretty warm when reading. I also ordered a pair of the arm warmers, however, delivery has been postponed to late October. But I doubt I'll ever receive them, really.
@christiesue24. Missoni was a one time run. Rumor has it Pucci is doing next years limited edition release. Target wants to go for designers with strong signature looks, i.e. Missoni, Pucci, Burburry, etc.
I was only lucky to score a Missoni cocktail shaker. It was about week and half after store sell out and I found it hidden in the pet care section. I really want the 2 tier cupcake/hors d' oeuvres platter but not sure I wanna pay $75+ on ebay.
My baby is 95th percentile height, 90 weight, that would totes fit.... but he's a boy. It's probably meant to wear over other clothing.
I was at Target this evening, it had been sold out of Missoni but some magically appeared (returns, obviously). Mostly the bedding. hubby wouldn't let me stop and look. I saw some kind of zig zag purse or luggage piece in the returns area, in the defect bins. Someone had returned it for being defective, I'm guessing the zipper/
My 5-year-old wore the sweater skirt and cardigan to school last week and ran in a "fun run" in them afterschool. I could not convince her to change into sweats. I swear about 10 other moms came up to me to tell me how cute she was. Both pieces seem to me to be of standard Target quality or higher, and I buy alot of her clothes at Target. They do seem to hold up well. I would have bought several sizes ahead to save for the future if I could have.
To add to the chorus of "Meh" responses: I, too, was largely unimpressed by what was left (office accessories, baby clothes, a few random women's pieces, bedding sets) in the few local Targets I frequent in my area, but ended up buying the small, fuschia and green throw to go in my daughter's crib. I couldn't pass up on how well-made and soft it felt, plus it was/is beautiful. I trusted it would hold up, and so far (after a few washes already), it has. Definitely worth far beyond the $24.99 price tag.
I was a day late, but my local Target still had a lot of product left. I bought several items, but returned some after I got home & fully examined the quality.
Kept: Baby romper, floral baby coat, small throw, set of 2 plates, 4 b&w chevron tumblers (LOVE!), b&w hand towels.
Returned: Women's blue maxi dress (RUNS HUGE), girl's rainboots (smelled awful and were very cheap looking), girl's flats, and girl's scarf.
I noticed a lot of the stuff had flaws in the consistency of the pattern.
Blech. This is not my style at all. I just don't get it. Who cares who designed it, it's still ugly.
I was so disappointed that everything was totally gone so fast and really, really resent that apparently quite a bit of it was bought for the sole purpose of reselling on ebay. Really? Turned me off to the whole thing. Then I saw some randoms items-probably returns- at our store and was really disappointed in the quality-the heels and flats were very poorly made and the black zig zag blouse runs so small, I don't know who it would fit. The only items I would still check out are the zig zag scarves. But overall-not worth it and soured me on Target.
I have been to 3 separate Dallas area Targets since the launch just to get random things and at each one, all the Missoni displays are barely touched. Where were these stores full of women clawing eyes out for sweaters and towels??
Personally, I think most of their line is pretty hideous, so I didn't purchase anything, but it seems I'm not the only one.
Well, I had to get in on Missoni Madness just because. I really like anything with stripes, so this stuff is right up my alley. I agree the quality isn't great, but hey, it's Target, so I expected that, and the stuff is really inexpensive compared with most household goods. I got two of the melamine trays, which are dandy, and a set of three nesting mixing bowls, which I like but totally didn't need. The one thing that I really wanted and got was the set of 5 espresso cups and saucers and spoons in a tower chrome stand. They are really cute. I also got the chevron blanket, which, yes, the fleece is a little cheesy, but I'll use these for my cats to sleep on, so I don't need much. The blanket is reversible, which is pretty cool. I agree the glassware was great and very heavy and looked very posh for the price. When I was in line checking out, a woman two ahead of me had the glass platter/bowl and dropped it putting it on the belt. Ouch!
Am I alone, here? Margharita Missoni's wardrobe, her grandmother's house...that is color-pattern genius, in my opinion. And then there is the stuff they do that is neither extraordinary or even lovely and this collection was completely from that end of the pool to me.
Target's Liberty of London was great. This one felt like garage sale fodder to me. And it could have been so GREAT! (Did you see that Pixel throw they did last year?!)
i feel the exact same way as marid22. i found it all rather insulting. i was so naive about the hysteria the day of. i went online that morning (to find the site down of course, annoying - you really can't tell me that *noone* high up anticipated that) and went into the store minutes after it was opened to find crazy jersey-shore-ish vulture women scrabbling over the kiosks. tumbleweeds blowing down the empty aisles. i would never buy the women's clothing. even if the quality was realistically decent, it screams MISSONI FOR TARGET. but i was interested in some of the other textiles. i found one lonely throw pillow that (i agree) is not worth any more than the $30ish i paid for it. and a sweater for my toddler, which is admittedly very cute. but i will definitely think again before i spend a morning lowering myself to target product hysteria!!
Since there are so many comments here, I can't attest to reading all of them. So, I'm going straight to what's on my mind: it sickens me that people bought up all the Missoni lines and slapped them right onto eBay for profit. The news the next morning was all about the Black Friday-like chaos at the stores. As much as I support capitalism by the little guy, this was disgusting. I went to Target the day after the release and it was almost all gone. Target had even taken the CHILDREN'S clothing that was left (about 10 items) and put it in the women's/junior's section. I've loved Missoni for years and have craved one of those chevron sweaters like little else. But I refuse to buy the items from Target or eBay. I'll continue to wear the lookalikes I can find in consignment shops.
@ username26. Spot on. The whole hoopla is just a meme.
We had the same kind of hoopla over here in Australia with Stella McCartney for Target (same name, same logo, but different Target company I think). Loads of people lining up early, grabbing everything, flogging it on ebay... A few weeks after it all went on sale, I went in and there was a clearance rack up the back of the clothes section with some of the stuff. Poorly made, weirdly fitting. Not at all worth the hype..
Saying that though, I'd love one of the missoni towels!
The pouf is nice, and your baby is adorable, but the whole thing left a bad taste in my mouth. People practically punching each other out for moderately attractive items? It put a bad taste in my mouth. They are just THINGS, people.
And yes, someone I know got the laptop bag with the lead warning and is returning it.
I picked up a candle, a mug, a scarf and a pair of rain boots.
I got the Men's sweater - the quality was CRAPTASTIC. I could see snags in the knit fabric before I even opened the plastic bag the sweater came in. The women's sweater coat and the iphone cover seem to be just fine though. Still waiting for several other items.
Craptastic. I couldn't have said it better myself. I had two (real) Missoni dresses that immediately went to Goodwill. Yes, I AM a snob.
I loved the Liberty of London stuff last year, but I didn't even bother to go to Target for Missoni. I looked at the lookbook online and none of it really appealed to me. I saw those rompers on the sale rack at the store yesterday and yeah they are HUGE. The 6-12 month size would have easily fit my 2 year old.
I have to laugh that every time I stop in Target, there's MORE stuff on the shelf from returns. The picture frames and framed tiles are the majority of stuff left, as well as some negligee things and kids' rain boots and other random stuff. A few people returned the duvet/sham sets. I was tempted, but it wouldn't go with anything and I have no desire to redo an entire room for that. I bought a picture frame and a pair of socks.
Awesome, this post has only strengthened my resolve to frequent our local thrift/consignment/antique shops for clothing and housewares. Refreshing.
i have to say that initially when i went to our target the day of launch, i was disappointed with the selection that was left and left empty handed. however, the other day my mom came over and brought me a "gift" of the melamine zigzag plates and striped bowls, zigzag coffee mugs, the three zigzag ceramic mixing bowls, he drinking cups in zigzag a hand towel and a picture frame. although its clearly target stuff, its cute, adds a pop to our kitchen and i like it :)
the target by me never even got any missoni in stock...
It does run big! My daughter is 10 months and has Ed wearing 12 months since she was just 9months old butane fits in the 6-12 month tunic and it looks like it could work till she is 18 months as a tunic and maybe till 24 months as a vest. I have to say I like that a lot and I think it's really cute. If it wasn't Missoni and a knock off I may not have wanted to spend $30 on it.
Be honest, if you came across a lot of this stuff and it did not have the Missoni name on it, would you have bought it? Just because Missoni licensed their brand does not make it real Missoni. If you like Missoni (and I do), save up for the real thing.
The one thing I really wanted was the shower curtain, which I had to order online. I thought it would be black & white, but it's more cream than white--not sure if I will keep it or not. I may have my sister-in-law use the fabric to make pillows for my couch.
I also got the hand towels in the fuschia color. Love them!
I bought a large tote in-store, but haven't used it yet and may return it. Now that I see the references to lead in the totes, I need to check the tag. If there's lead in it, it's going back! The one thing I have use, and love, is a melamine plate. It's just cute. And cheap. :)
@vartenouche Thanks for reiterating my point! I said the same thing! Save up and buy the real deal! It's not like the Missoni family designed the Target pieces...they came up with a few "new" patterns, licensed them to Target and Target decided what they were going to "Missoni"
While I theoretically understand the "save up for the real thing" idea... what I really want from Missoni is an awesome knit dress. But even if I had the extra $1500, I simply would not spend that much money on a single outfit for myself. And so, my "infinity" scarf from Missoni for Target makes me incredibly happy. While not as loose/poofy or boldly colored as their $200 scarves at Neiman-Marcus, it is soft, pretty and of good quality in both look and feel.
That said, I completely passed on all of the picture frames and melamine kitchenware that I saw left at Target. I also tried on a few returned items that really disappointed me. The dresses seemed rather shapeless, and the black and white chevron blouse that they had in my size was made such that the chevrons were mismatched in the front after you buttoned it up. (To be fair, they also had an XL there, and it pattern-matched perfectly.)
I did, however, buy a hair barrette... less because it was M for T, and more because I'm always looking for barrettes with some kind pattern that isn't too bizarre. I use them to keep my hair out of my face at work, and I get tired of the classic metal ones.
missoni did not license their brand. they designed this line for target. target asked them for certain items and missoni wanted to do more and did. the missoni's were at the nyc pop-up shops to launch the brand.
my mom purchased a few clothing pieces for my toddler (14 months). she bought the 18-24 month size and the sizing is pretty much on point (she is in the 50th percentile for her age) so it's a little big for room to grow. we got the cardigan which seems to be a cropped cardigan. we got the leggings which are a teeny long but good in waist. got the purple flower sweater which is just AMAZING and looks better in person than online. also got a dress which is great. i couldn't believe the weight of the pieces. they are so well made. my mom also surprised me with a black/white makeup bag which i just love! for the price, you can't beat it.
Missoni for Target is "real Missoni". Missoni for Missoni is "real Missoni". I have seen both and quality varies in both lines- as does taste levels (I have a love/hate relationship with the colors and design palette of classic missoni). Some of the snobbiest designers have some of their products made in China- Coach, LV, and so on. The Missoni family I am sure is not behind the sewing machine on either line of products but they sign-off on both lines. Unless you are purchasing couture you are buying a mass-produced product. I think that buying them for cheap is more responsible than forking out big bucks on similar merchandise. To say you will only buy "real missoni" sounds a bit off to me. To say you will only buy missoni that seems well made and is attractive to you makes more sense. Now, onto the "ebayers make me so mad group" (and I have not yet sold one piece on ebay buy may unload some of it there eventually)-everyone had the same opportunities to buy. Get up early, stay up late at night and if you missed out then that is just the way it goes. There are ebayers who missed out too. Target runs a business for profit, Missoni runs a business for profit, and ebayers run a business for profit. Ebayers are only selling what folks are buying and it is a free marketplace. Everyone has to make a living and it is not like the ebayers are buying up all the water in the world and profiting on it. They are folks just making a fair working living. Business is business no matter where your workplace is. Some of those sellers also contribute a portion of the proceeds to charity- did Target? It is funny what gets us going in the fashion and status world we live in- anyone seen how much a real Pan Am hat goes for right now on Ebay?! My product reviews:
1-throw- nice bold graphics and thick!
2-long skinny scarf- thin and cheap feeling
3-rubber boots- cute but lots of imperfections- cheap looking
4-totes- cute but stitching is cheap looking and mismatched
5-shower curtains are nice heavy quality with great drape- would make lovely pillow fabric
6-those bobby pins are great!
7-ceramic set of 3 puzzle trays are really fun, unique, and well done. They couldn't be made better looking and will make a splash on the table. Great value.
All kitchen/serving products were a great value
Some of the knit clothes were thick and plush with top quality weight while others must have been made at another factory and were thin and cheap. (men's sweaters and other items).
missoni did not license their brand. they designed this line for target. target asked them for certain items and missoni wanted to do more and did. the missoni's were at the nyc pop-up shops to launch the brand.
