I was at a dinner party at a friend's home a couple hours ago when I had a "have-I-been-living-under-a-rock” moment. As I was pouring myself a glass of sparkling water, I realized that the S. Pellegrino bottle looked a little different: it was covered in a Missoni print. I fell in love, but was also a bit disturbed that I hadn’t seen these bottles before.
When hosting a memorable and unique dinner party it’s really all in the small details, and this bottle of S. Pellegrino adds color and style in a place that is very unexpected. Surprisingly, the bottle is also subtle enough that it will not clash with other fabrics. My friend Anna has a very colorful Marimekko tablecloth and the bottle blended right in. But now I find myself with a need to get my hands on a few of these bottles before they go out of production.

White Enamel Flatwa...
I WANT THESE!!!
OMG I WANT THESE TOO!!!! I HAVE SOME JEAN PAUL GAULTIER EVIAN WATER BOTTLES AND THESE WOULD MAKE A GREAT ADDITION!
What a hot mess that table is.
I've seen these! I ordered sparkling water at a restaurant recently. When I noticed the lovely design and the Missoni name, my first thought was "I wonder when I"ll see this on Apartment Therapy!" :)
So where can you buy them?
My mom bought her label-obsessed friend the JP Gaultier Evian saying, "Darling, it's the only Gaultier I could ever afford!"
I love it! Please, please someone let us know where to buy them. I've google searched, but no luck.
Sorry to be the negative one, I realize this is sparkling water and thus different but the concept of designer water just disgusts me, frankly.
"Designer" water turns bottled water into a commodity, which is against all humanitarian ideals in my opinion. Bottled water means less attention to public systems in our communities and the corporatization of something which should be available to all.
Personally I'd rather the designers put their labels on something else instead of supporting companies like Evian. Maybe I'm alone in this...
I'd be embarrassed to have to rely on something like bottled water to "add color and style in a place that is very unexpected".
Gwylan, you are by no means alone in this that.
How can one be "disturbed" at not having seen the latest mineral water bottle? Does your life have so little content?
THESE WHERE LIMITED EDITION AND CAME OUT IN JUNE 2010 ONLY FOR 3 MONTHS... THE NY RESTAURANTS THAT SOLD THEM WERE-DANIEL,LE BERNANDIN,JEAN GEORGES AND MARIA& MAIALINO. HOPE THIS HELPS EVERYONE! LET ME KNOW!!!
I seem to be the only one to think that those labels are not only silly, but hideous.
Hmmm, didn't Native Americans come out with this design hundreds of years ago? Meh, does nothing for me honestly. Too intentionally bourgeois. No one at my dinner parties would even recognize the "significance" so it would be a moot point.
Sorry, but I'm ALWAYS going to pass on designer water in favor of my Sodastream. Always.
