If decorating a room with only one or two colors is bold, decorating a room with only one or two colors and mixing patterns is brazen!
The look might be audacious, but the execution is easy. This style is perfect for someone who wants to create a provocative room — but who isn't exactly a design visionary.
Choose two colors (which includes white even though it's technically not a color). Then buy patterned furniture, wallpaper, bedding, drapery, etc. that only uses those two colors. Now, throw it all together. Presto, you have a sensational room.
It's hard to go wrong with this method, and the results are stunning!

the beauty that never stops. we have a million ways or more to put a room together. Isn't fun? And humbling. We don't make the beauty, we just gather it together...mary
rooms 2 and 4 seem EXTREMELY dated to me.
the 1st one is just not something i would want to wake up to (or fall asleep in for that matter).
i'm not normally a fan of black, but that 3rd room is amazing!
and the last photo only gets approval from me because the couch is gorgeous.
The first picture is PUKEY!
I am coveting that third one.
Really like the third one, though it's a bit too crowded for a bedroom...
The first picture - I would wake up frightened if I could ever fall asleep there. I do like the bed (minus the linens) and the chair.
