Inexpensive pick-me-ups for students or homeowners who need to save their money for boring stuff like tuckpointing, this mod herringbone tapestry is on our love list. We often need versatility of a piece like this - just up and move it from bed to wall to futon for an entirely new look. This design in particular has elements of old tradition mixed with a mod feel for a perfect blend.

Mod herringbone tapestry available at Urban Outfitters for $36 (lightweight cotton).

great find! perhaps this will suffice as I wait patiently until I can have/afford herringbone wood floors.
To quote Tim Gunn . . . "That's a lot of look!"
cheerful, if nothing else
Aaron - Me too! As soon as I win the lottery...herringbone floors are far as my eye can see...
Who could sleep surrounded by ALL that!
Okay, this is going to be my last post ever dissing Urban Outfitters.
THEY SUCK
As a poor college kid, I've been eyeing this throw for the past month, debating on buying it.....more debating on how soon I will buy it. Probably next week.
While rather busy, for someone with limited ways to bring pattern and color into their space, this is perfect (and cheap).
Not to mention, when I move to a less dramatic bedspread this would be great on the couch, or just to cover up with on a cold winter day.
Maybe I'm crazy but I think it will be a lot less intimidating in person.
I looked at this design... and now I'm going to go have a seizure.... aaaaaah
