Ahhhh, if we could spread out, stretch our legs and set up shop in a kitchen bigger than a closet--we'd probably go for a style similar to Violeta's. She's stocked her space full of great ideas and provided open shelving in spades--let's take a closer look, after the jump!
For a while there, we were buying everything white (drums, iPod, car) and we really like the idea of applying the same monochromatic look to the kitchen. Violeta manages to create a clean and modern space while softening the look with texture in the form of wood and vintage finds. An old ladder contrasts nicely with the newness of vinyl wall decals (ginormous knives are a playful addition for the kitchen). Open shelving also creates warmth and Violeta does a great job rotating vignettes to keep the room fresh. She also tells us that her hubby designed the white shelving, but we can't get over the great idea of positioning the IKEA organizers right below (love).
