The chair's popularity isn't hard to understand; it's beautiful, comfortable, and works indoors and out, in pretty much any kind of space.
These chairs can be a bit pricey — the 'small' size (the one you see in most interiors) will set you back $900, and that's without a cover — and on sale. Fortunately, vintage ones are pretty easy to come by on Ebay, especially if you don't mind rehabbing a bit.

One of the most surprising things for me about these chairs is that they're actually comfortable. They look like one of those design-trumps-comfort choices that designers make for rooms that they're never actually going to live in, but in reality the diamond chairs are comfy (even without a cover!) for both upright sitting and lounging. Hellaciously expensive, but that kind of comes with the territory. :(
I love these chairs but was capitvated by the beautiful emerald green bed spread in the first picture. What a great combo.
Never mind the chair. I want that green blanket!
That green blanket is fabulous.
I recently bought a used pair of white Diamond Chairs from a friend. I have them as end chairs for the breakfast table in my kitchen. However, they were already kind of dingy when I purchased them. Anyone have any experience/tips with cleaning these guys?
Does anyone know who makes that amazing green blanket?!!
i also am in love with that green blanket!

YES! Green Blanket. I can't quite tell if that is a knit stitch or...?
I like the green blanket too. I wish I could wrap it around me as I sit in my ergonomic chair.
